When is the Walden Winter Carnival?

The Walden Winter Carnival runs from Thursday night (5:00pm) February 9, 2017 until Sunday at 3:00pm, February 12, 2017.

How much is general admission?

Admission to the Carnival is only a one time $5 Button. All carnival activities are included in the cost of the button (except for Comedy Night and any food items you wish to purchase). You can purchase a button at Battistelli’s YIG (in Lively), Pinehill Hair Center (in Lively), Pinehill Lumber (in Lively), Walden Home Hardware (Lively) and buttons are also available at several locations during the Carnival.

Where will the Carnival activities be held?

The Walden Winter Carnival activities are held at Anderson Farm, St. Paul Elementary School, St. James Elementary School and T.M. Davies Arena. To find out where events are being held you can download the 2017 SCHEDULE – Coming Soon!.

What time do the events run during the carnival?

  • Thursday February 9, 2017: Events start at 5:00pm until 7:35 pm (fireworks).
  • Friday February 10, 2017: Events start between 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:30pm to 10:00pm.
  • Saturday February 11, 2017: Regular Events start at 11:00am until 4:00pm. Hockey games and pancake breakfast start at 8:00 am.
  • Sunday February 12, 2017: Regular Events start at 11:00am until 3:00pm. Hockey games and pancake breakfast start at 8:00 am.
  • Monday February 13, 2017: No Events.

What time is the pancake breakfast? Where is it located? How much does it cost?

The Pancake Breakfast starts at 8am and finishes at 11 am . The breakfast is located upstairs in the arena and the price range is between $3 to $5 (depending on your order).

Where can I park and how much does it costs?

We have increased our free parking this year:

  • T.M Davies Arena
  • Anderson Farm
  • École St-Paul
  • Lively High School

We have shuttles available to and from the different locations. Drop off and pick up shuttle points are on the carnival map with a black star ★.

Parking is #5 on the CARNIVAL MAP – Coming Soon!.

Can I drop off my hockey equipment at the arena before parking?

Yes! We have a special drop off and pickup location where you can bring your hockey equipment before you park.

Will there be food at the Carnival?

Yes! You can purchase food inside the arena, outside the arena, and at Anderson Farm.

Do you have a shuttle service to get to and from events?

Yes! we have shuttles available to and from the different locations. Drop off and pick up shuttle points are on the CARNIVAL MAP – Coming Soon! with stars.
